Wednesday puddles
in slow motion
explosions of
fuchsia & lilac
ruffled rhododendrons
swirl a little girl
circles the aftermath
singing I am not
welcome but
I am not trapped.
grateful for blossom
and new wave on the grass.
evidence of rain.
